Press Release #2:

Your Favorite Trainwreck & Communication Redlight... two coasts, two bands that arrive in 2010 by way of the 90's melodic punk explosion. This split 7" is a mutual celebration of like minded dudes caught somewhere in the middle of a perpetual mind boggling hell of a good time (and a billion collective shows played) so this keeps right with the theme of Devildance releases... great songs with emphasis on the "good time"

Let's start with Your Favorite Trainwreck... This band includes Popeye from the Revelation band Farside & Jeff Caudill from the Revelation band Gameface. If you ever heard those two bands, you have a pretty good idea what these guys sound like, if not you should go hear them immediately, as they were both pioneers to what became modern punk from the early 90's on.

Communication Redlight... Up and coming band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Born out of local bands We're all Broken, The Low End Theory & Delft, these dudes are becoming known for explosive live performances. Influence-wise these guys could easily be mentioned in the same sentence as bands like Knapsack & Inside.

COMMUNICATION REDLIGHT:
A newer New Brunswick, N.J. band… that play a modernized version of 90′s melodic hardcore. They are our dear old friends, and you are going to love them. Think Knapsack meets Inside. Without them this record would not be possible.

YOUR FAVORITE TRAINWRECK:
Fuck I still can’t even believe we’re doing a record with these dudes. If you never heard of Farside or Gameface you should do yourself a favor and go check em out… as they were both Revelation Records favorites in the mid 90′s. When we were young and even dumber than I am now, ALL WE DID was go to shows, skateboard and listen to records…and you better believe Farside & Gameface were in heavy rotation. The Farside “hero” 7″ was the second 7″ I ever owned… and im sure a lot of you know, is in regular rotation every time I DJ. So it’s still a little surreal that we’re involved with this.

Devildance Records started in 1999 to document some of the local underground music that was happening in the town (New Brunswick) at the time. With big bands like Midtown and Thursday drawing big time attention from kids all over the world in early 2000...it's surprising that not many people were around to disect the incredible underground scene that was emerging right under their noses. The years between 2000 and 2005 gave birth to some of the most amazing bands to people to ever rip through New Brunswick. Unfortunately, there were also some of the most over-looked. Those years, and a lot of those guys continue to influence and help make punk rock happen in the hub city. We are proud to have put out their records.

Now, in its second coming, Devildance will continue helping to serve up a fat plate of sincere underground music to the masses, while remembering the bands and people that came before...PUNKROCKNEVERSTOP!

Devildance Records has released records from bands such as The Sirs, The Gaslight Anthem, Let Me Run, Spiro Agnew, We're All Broken, The Low End Theory, Hello Scream, and more!
